The Generous Wife tip for Friday January 30, 2009

Relationships are very important. Lori asks some key questions today to help us in that area of our life.

Taking Care of Yourself Series ...

God created us for relationship. At the very first,
He said it was not good for Adam to be alone (without
human relationship) and in the NT we are called to
be parts of the body of Christ, relating to each
other, encouraging each other, serving each other,
etc. We need relationship to be healthy.

How are your close relationships? Relationships are
tricky things. They require two people, so you can't
really govern them, but you can make choices that will
shape your relationships and give you hope of having
warm, healthy relationships.

Do you need help in sorting out your marriage or
parenting relationships? There are good books out there
now with a good amount of wisdom in them. Seeking out
classes or counseling is a reasonable option too.

Are you in need of friends? Your church, local classes,
women's and mom's groups can offer some help there. If
you live out in the boonies, strike up friendships
online. Make the effort to reach out and connect with
others. Don't go this journey of life alone.

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to
one another and to all ...
1 Thessalonians 3:12 NKJV

Think generous! Lori
