     I spent the day putting up our Christmas tree (over the next few days we'll add ornaments) and setting out various decorations.  My husband, son and I cranked up the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas music and generally acted like a bunch of nuts, rocking out to the music (OK, so our son sat there laughing at us rocking out).  LOL  It was good fun.
      All that to say that holidays are a great time for laughing and carrying on with your family.  Relax and smile.  Don't worry too much about messes.  Use the time to hug on the folks you love.  Sneak a few kisses with your hubby.
      Oh, and don't forget to put up a couple of decorations in the bedroom.  Twinkle lights or candles can make for some interesting lighting.  Bedroom Christmas trees and/or stockings are great as well.  Have fun with it.

     The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.  Burton Hills
