Is the romance lacking in your marriage? Do you need to breathe life back into it? Then the book of the month is for you!

Prayer is an integral part of the success of any marriage. Debra White Smith in the first chapter entitled “Queen of Romance” recommends the following points for prayer as part of your daily devotions:

 Pray that God will renew and empower your love for your husband

 Pray that God will increase your sexual desire for your husband

 Pray that you will be more interested in meeting your husband’s needs than your own

 Pray that the Lord will give you patience with yourself and your spouse in your journey to spectacular romance

 Ask the Lord to show you creative and exciting ways to romance your husband

When we pray these specific kinds of prayers it greatly improves the atmosphere in our marriage and enables us to do what we need to do to help our husbands feel honored. Take a bold step today and begin in prayer to be the kind of wife to your husband that every man wants – one who places priority where it matters.

This book is a perfect Valentine's day gift to yourself and there's also the partner to it called Romancing Your Wife.

How to Support Him without Being a DoormatM

Have you ever thought along these lines - "Why do I have to be the one to do this?" or "What about him? He isn't being the husband he is supposed to be." or "I am always the one to give in". If you have you may be worried about becoming a doormat especially if your husband is one of those unappreciative types that no matter what you do he doesn't notice or finds fault.

Well fasten your seatbelts because we have an article written just for you by Sheila Gregoire. She has a blog called To Love, Honor and Vacuum. She wrote about this very issue in a post entitled How to Support Him without Being a Doormat.

You have got to read it! Click on the title of the post or go HERE to read all about it. Be blessed and refreshed as you read. Make sure to leave her a comment if her post ministers to you or just say hi.

Awakening Love

It's amazing that when God wants to teach a lesson or say something he does it in different ways using different sources. Yesterday I happened upon this 1 Cor. 7:5 challenge which focuses on the intimate side of our marriages. Today I encountered a post on another lady's blog - To Love, Honor and Vacuum - about this same area. What she wrote was so true that I had to share it with you ladies. Here is an excerpt from her post:

Your love was awakened too early, and in the wrong way.

And chances are you've become a little bitter about sex. It's just something else on your to-do list. And then you read on blogs like this one and others that Christian women are supposed to understand how much their husbands need sex, and you're supposed to put out. Oh, great. That's really fun now, isn't it?

And I understand. Believe me, I do. But I also think that there's a way past this, and I want to share it with you today to offer some hope.
