The Generous Wife tip - Marriage Honoring Friendships

Wise advice from Lori today:

Paul and I just shared a lovely evening with a couple (good food, interesting conversation and much laughter). Afterward I realized how nice it was to spend time with a couple that so obviously loved each other and that were "marriage friendly." Aside from just being an enjoyable evening, it was good for Paul and I, as a couple, to hang out with folks in an atmosphere where we are supported as a couple and where marriage really is held in honor.
I encourage y'all to look for similar friends. It doesn't matter if they are older or younger, from a different culture, etc. Look for those who are obviously in love and who treat each other with respect. Invite them over for a meal or invite them to join you on an outing. Get to know each other, learn from each other, and encourage each other in your marriages.

Let marriage be held in honor (esteemed worthy, precious, of great price, and especially dear) in all things. Hebrews 13:4a Amplified Bible
