Today our topic is centered around our spiritual lives as help meets. We cannot become the help meets that God designed us to be without putting God first in our lives. How can the created thrive without the Creator. How can we know how we are to function as our husband’s help meet without seeking the face of the one who called us into this ministry. Yes it is a ministry. There is no one better suited to minister to your husband than you. If there was someone better suited God would have given your husband that person.

So first of all settle this fact in your mind – Inside of you lies everything necessary to be the help meet that your husband needs. You may not know how to go about it and that’s where a relationship with the One who called you to this ministry comes in. Seek his face daily and diligently and let him minister to your husband through you. If you don’t know how to pray or where to start there are many wonderful resources out there to help you develop a relationship with God. Books, articles, online resources abound. Don’t let lack of knowledge rob you of the most important aspect of being a help meet – being in relationship with God.
